About the Role

Join FAMILY CARE HEALTH CENTERS as a Nurse Practitioner- Obstetrics and Women's Health in United States. Description I. BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for providing comprehensive health care to individuals and their families in collaboration with a physician and the health care team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive, individual health care including client counseling and teaching, referral and follow-up in accordance with Center protocols.
  • Consults with the physician for specified treatments and medications not described in Center protocols.
  • Provides direction for the oversight of medical assistant and nurse training and quality assurance for teamwork of medical assistants and nurses with women’s health providers.
  • Responsible for the oversight on handling of and training for all women’s health medical procedural equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri and in good standing.
  • Master’s Degree in Family and/or Adult Nursing and/or Women’s Health preferred.
  • Certified or eligible for certification as a Family and/or Adult and/or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
