About the Role

Join Veterinary Emergency Care, PLLC as a Veterinary Rehabilitation Therapist – Full-Time in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • must be a detail-oriented person who can maintain high standards of patient care and can work efficiently both independently and as a team.
  • must communicate clearly with the rehabilitation doctors, client services team, and the other rehabilitation staff to ensure that patients receive the care that they need and must be able to document all client communication and patient observations thoroughly.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted, kneel, twist, and assist patients in a variety of positions.
  • develop close relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • Rehabilitation Therapists must have at least 2 years prior experience as a veterinary assistant in a hospital setting.
  • Certification in rehabilitation (CCRA, CCRVN, CCRP) is preferred; other related certifications (CCFT, COASM, massage) and/or canine training or competition experience is considered.
  • Excellent client service skills, strong communication skills with co-workers, and a thorough understanding of canine and feline behavior are necessary.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office programs and have the ability to learn electronic medical record systems (EzyVet).
