Registered Nurse - Short Term Assignment – Eastern Region

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse on the Short Term Assignment Flex Team at Rochester Regional Health, you will provide essential patient care across multiple facilities in the Eastern Region. This role involves floating to where care is needed most, working 8 to 12 week assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop and document individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide care.
• Educate patients and families using teach-back methods.
• Lead and delegate within the care team.
• Participate in problem-solving and protocol development.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• NYS Registered Nurse License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certifications preferred.

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• Work every other weekend.
• Work two major and two minor holidays.
• Schedule varies based on assignment.
