About the Role

Join Mercy Gilbert Medical Center as a Clinical Pharmacist in United States. Where You’ll Work Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Gilbert, the Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, is a 198-bed, not-for profit hospital with more than 1,300 team members and almost 900 doctors on staff representing all major specialties.

Key Responsibilities

  • As our Clinical Pharmacist, you’ll help our doctors and nurses safely prescribe and dispense medications to help our patients feel better and recover from their illness or injury.
  • Every day, you’ll build trust in these interactions by reviewing every prescription in your queue.
  • We never rely entirely on the computer to check for safety; we always use an expert for the final check.
  • You’ll review prescriptions for potential drug interactions, correct dosing, patient allergies or anything that looks unusual in your opinion.

Requirements

  • CPR, upon hire and Preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
