Registered Nurse (RN) - Heart Failure

About the Role

Join ChristianaCare as a Registered Nurse in the Heart Failure Unit at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware. This full-time role involves caring for post-op open heart patients in a 36-bed unit with complex cardiac needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with chest tubes, central lines, and cardiac pacing wires.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor patients closely and participate in daily rounds.

Requirements

• BSN preferred; commitment to obtain within 3 years considered.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; stepdown or critical care preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility.

Work Schedule
