About the Role

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist providing rehabilitative care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes across multiple Vermont counties. This role involves home visits and being part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations, physician orders, and goals.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care to promote health and independence.
• Document observations and interventions accurately using electronic medical records.

Requirements

• Current Vermont license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent educational and work experience.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
