Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Long Term Care

About the Role

This position is for Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in a long-term care setting at Avera Majestic Bluffs/Avera Sister James Care Center in Yankton, South Dakota. The role involves delivering nursing care to residents including physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Provide resident care by reviewing physician prescriptions and coordinating with healthcare team.
• Teach residents and families about conditions and self-care.
• Maintain safe and healthy care environment.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Direct and coordinate workflow of nursing assistants.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license in South Dakota.
• Preferred 1-3 years clinical or long-term care experience.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $67,600 - $100,160 per year depending on experience.
• Eligible for up to $30,000 sign-on bonus.

Work Schedule

• Night shifts from 6pm to 6:30am.
• Every 3rd weekend and holiday coverage required.
• 72 hours per 2 weeks schedule.
