Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides primary medical care by assessing patient health, diagnosing conditions, and implementing effective treatment plans. They work collaboratively with the care team to perform procedures, document encounters, and educate patients on wellness and follow-up care.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies and possess a current, clear license to practice in the State of Florida. Additionally, a BLS certification is required to meet the credentialing standards of the UF Health Shands Hospital network.
