Per Diem Physician

Key Responsibilities

The physician is responsible for the rapid evaluation and stabilization of acutely ill or injured patients across various emergency department units. They also serve as the physician in charge to manage patient flow and coordinate care with other medical staff and consultants.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree and have completed an accredited emergency medicine residency program with board certification or eligibility. A valid medical license in Connecticut and New York, along with DEA certification, is required.
