About the Role

Join Virginia Commonwealth University as a General Cardiologist – Williamsburg Location in United States. Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine is a premier academic medical center located in the heart of Richmond. Accounting for almost half of VCU’s sponsored research, the School of Medicine is internationally recognized for patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities

& Responsibilities: Teaching: To support teaching directly via interactions with Medical Assistant trainees and undergraduate students from The College of William and Mary.

In addition, will be expected to participate in University Continuing Medical Education programs for practicing physicians which is important to enhancing patient referrals.

Research: To support clinical research protocols as needed.

Service: Will be expected to participate in quality, safety and efficiency initiatives Clinical: Will primarily be dedicated to the imaging and outpatient and consultative services.

Requirements

BC/BE cardiologist with demonstrated skills in cardiovascular disease

Clinically oriented and possess sufficient research and teaching experience to be eligible for academic appointmentC

Communicate effectively and work with a large multidisciplinary program

Participate in teaching and Fellowship programs
