Join Virginia Commonwealth University as a General Cardiologist – Williamsburg Location in United States. Accounting for almost half of VCU’s sponsored research, the School of Medicine is internationally recognized for patient care and education.
Key Responsibilities
- & Responsibilities: Teaching: To support teaching directly via interactions with Medical Assistant trainees and undergraduate students from The College of William and Mary.
- In addition, will be expected to participate in University Continuing Medical Education programs for practicing physicians which is important to enhancing patient referrals.
- Research: To support clinical research protocols as needed.
- Service: Will be expected to participate in quality, safety and efficiency initiatives Clinical: Will primarily be dedicated to the imaging and outpatient and consultative services.
Requirements
- BC/BE cardiologist with demonstrated skills in cardiovascular disease
- Clinically oriented and possess sufficient research and teaching experience to be eligible for academic appointmentC
- Communicate effectively and work with a large multidisciplinary program
- Participate in teaching and Fellowship programs
