Key Responsibilities

• $167,377.60 Sign On Bonus: $3,500 Essential Duties and Responsibilities for a Nurse Practitioner:

• Takes histories, performs physical examinations, gives immunizations (as necessary) and does patient education and counseling.

• Orders appropriate lab work, draws blood for lab work if needed, and performs some lab tests such as wet prep microscopic exams.

• Prescribes treatment for minor illnesses, and consults with physician regarding medication, chronic illness and referrals when appropriate.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree Minimum Work Related Experience:

• 3 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in Urgent Care Preferred Work Experience:

• 3+ Years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Urgent Care Minimum Licensure:

• Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State and CPR/BLS Required Skills & Knowledge:
