Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive well-child care, including physical exams, immunizations, and developmental screenings.
  • Diagnose and manage acute illnesses (e. g., infections, injuries, minor emergencies).
  • Manage chronic conditions (e. g., asthma, obesity, allergies).
  • Evaluate and refer patients to specialists or ancillary services as needed.
  • Provide age-appropriate anticipatory guidance to caregivers during each stage of child development.
  • Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, care coordinators, and other professionals to ensure integrated care.

Requirements

  • Post-residency experience with 3+ years preferred in a primary care setting.
  • Degree from an Accredited Doctor of Medicine (M. D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D. O.) program along completion of residency program(s).

  • Valid, unencumbered license to Practice Medicine in the State of New Mexico, Board Certified in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine
  • DEA registration
