Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive well-child care, including physical exams, immunizations, and developmental screenings.
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses (e. g., infections, injuries, minor emergencies).
- Manage chronic conditions (e. g., asthma, obesity, allergies).
- Evaluate and refer patients to specialists or ancillary services as needed.
- Provide age-appropriate anticipatory guidance to caregivers during each stage of child development.
- Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, care coordinators, and other professionals to ensure integrated care.
Requirements
- Post-residency experience with 3+ years preferred in a primary care setting.
- Degree from an Accredited Doctor of Medicine (M. D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D. O.) program along completion of residency program(s).

- Valid, unencumbered license to Practice Medicine in the State of New Mexico, Board Certified in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine

- Document patient visits clearly and accurately using the electronic health record (EHR) system.

- Coordinate with schools, therapists, public health programs, and community resources as appropriate.
- Stay up to date with continuing medical education (CME) and professional licensure.
