About the Role

Join Naphcare, Inc. as a Correctional Psychologist – PRN, San Diego in United States.

Key Responsibilities

The Psychologist is responsible for providing psychological leadership, consultation and direct services for patients to help improve their mental health and reduce the risk of recidivism.

Additional responsibilities may include and not be limited to: Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients.

Working with inmates to prepare them for reintegration into society, providing support for finding housing, employment, and other resources.

Providing counseling and support to help inmates manage emotional challenges, cope with incarceration, and develop coping mechanisms.
