About the Role

Join University Health Partners of Hawaii as a Physician (Director of Community Engagement) in United States. POSITION SUMMARY The Department of Family Medicine seeks a Family Medicine Physician with a strong commitment to patient care, medical education and community outreach. Will serve as the Department’s Director of Community Outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Department’s Director of Community Engagement
  • Assess community needs including but not limited to houselessness, food security, behavioral health access, addictions,
  • Collaborate with entities affiliated with local schools/education, community engagement and public health
  • Serve as department representative on community boards and/or associations

Requirements

  • Perform all other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education/Training/Experience:
  • MD or DO medical degree from a medical school of recognized standing.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Family Medicine residency program.
  • Board certified or an active candidate for board certification in Family Medicine, with the American Board of Family Medicine.
