Key Responsibilities

• Consult with physicians, nurses, patients and patients' families concerning treatment and care and transmission risks, prophylaxis and precautions
• Refer cases to specialists as indicated, maintaining continuity of care
• Maintain patient records according to hospital policies and procedures
• Provide appropriate and timely education for Medical Staff and hospital staff

Requirements

• Education Required: MD or DO
• License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
• License to practice medicine in Louisiana
