Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible

This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

About the Role

Denver Health seeks a Correctional Psychologist to provide clinical services for incarcerated individuals at the Denver Sheriff Department. The role includes individual and group therapy, diagnostic assessments, case coordination, and clinical teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and competency evaluations.
  • Provide individual and group therapy.
  • Participate in quality improvement and research activities.
  • Supervise psychology trainees.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
  • 1-3 years postdoctoral experience including forensic psychology.
  • Licensed Psychologist in Colorado.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
