Key Responsibilities
- Use music therapy interventions to treat patients according to individualized treatment plan.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment to meet the needs of each patient and therapeutic milieu served.
- Performs assessments to determine deficits, strengths, functioning needs, and precautions addressable through music therapy.
- Determine role of music therapy in treatment, establish treatment goals, and formulate interventions strategies based on assessed needs.
Requirements
- Qualifications Required Bachelors degree in music therapy or a Music Therapy equivalency.
- Board certification (MT-BC) through the Certification Board for Music Therapists.
- Qualifications (Preferred) Preferred Two years related experience.
- Utah State Certified Music Therapist (SCMT) acquired through DOPL.
Work Schedule
- Per Diem position.
