Key Responsibilities
- will be a part of a team providing care and support to patients and their families who no longer receive treatments to cure their terminal illness but instead choose care to improve their comfort and quality of life.
- must be able to work autonomously, handle various patient care scenarios with professionalism, and provide empathetic and compassionate care in emotionally challenging situations.
- provide care at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals.
- provide care at one of our Hospice Care Centers.
Requirements
- A graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse through the Kentucky Board of Nursing or participating COMPACT state Board of Nursing.
- One year of general nursing experience is preferred.
- New nursing graduates will be considered.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Call responsibilities required.
- Day shift only - no nights.
