Key Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist will perform therapeutic interventions according to standards of care and provide effective instruction to patients and families. They must also initiate and maintain collaborative interactions with team members and establish and update formal plans of care based on individual patient needs.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master’s Level Degree in Speech Pathology, hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist License in Virginia, and have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required for this 14-week temporary assignment.
