Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) (Remote)

About the Role

Author Health seeks board-certified PMHNPs licensed in Florida and Texas for fully remote care of older adults with severe mental illness, substance use, and dementia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to older adults.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage crisis situations and coordinate care.
• Participate in weekly supervision.
• On-call responsibilities one week every 3-4 months.

Requirements

• Board-certified PMHNP with active license and DEA in FL and TX.
• 3-5 years NP experience in acute psychiatric settings preferred.
• Experience with geriatric psychopharmacology and complex care.
