About the Role

Join American Addiction Centers as a Registered Nurse (RN) Perioperative Cohort in United States.

Key Responsibilities

will challenge your knowledge and skills surrounding surgical nursing in the Operating Room? You are the eyes, the ears, and the voice of the patient during one of the most vulnerable times of a person’s healthcare journey.

will include a 6-week intensive emergence into periop nursing to include:
Didactic Education
Digital Education
Lab experiences with practice skills
Simulations
Role playing
Hands-on practice We have 22 operating rooms Main operating room services - Neuro/ENT, General, and orthopedics Position Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Current WI RN license Seeking an RN with minimum of one year nursing experience OR will consider New Grads NCLEX must be passed before start date · Must be available to start June 15, 2026 Manager interviews and shadows will be conducted between 4/27 through 5/4/ 2026 · Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts in order to accommodate staffing · positions need to take call · Work environment includes probability of exposure to adverse, hazardous, or unpleasant conditions while caring for the sick · Ability to assist in evacuation of patients in the event of a fire or other disaster · Routinely works with potentially infectious specimens and patients · Ability to respond to patients in a timely manner and access all areas of the unit · Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Work Schedule
