Key Responsibilities
- The goal of this program is to reduce suffering and improve quality of life for these patients and their families in collaboration with other members of the health care team.
- As a member of the Palliative Interdisciplinary team, this position will play a pivotal role in providing palliative medicine consultation for seriously ill patients and their families.
Requirements
- REQUIRED Master’s Degree in Nursing from an Accredited College or University and certified as a Nurse Practitioner in area of clinical focus.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in nursing; experience in oncology, hospice, geriatrics or palliative medicine.
- Certification in palliative care, Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) or Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACPHN), within (24) twenty four months of hire or transfer.
- BLS Certification every two (2) years.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Day shift only - no nights.
