About the Role

Join Northwell as a Registered Dietitian - FlexStaff Contract in United States. DIETICIAN - FLEXSTAFF RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Interviews patient and/or family for nutritional history.

Key Responsibilities

Interviews patient and/or family for nutritional history.

Obtains patient food preferences.

Assesses patients and documents in patients’ medical record, according to hospital policies and procedures.

Recommends nutrition care plans to medical staff for review and consideration.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Food, Nutrition or Dietetics, required.

Registered Dietitian (RD) within three (3) months of date of hire, required.

Active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, preferred. One year acute care experience preferred
