About the Role

Join University Hospitals as a Rehab Therapist - Child Psych: Part Time in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.

Requirements

  • to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
  • Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
  • Education Bachelor's Degree and graduate of an accredited school in Therapeutic Recreation, Art Therapy, Music Therapy or entry-level Occupational Therapy.

  • What You Will Do Perform assessment for functional and rehabilitative needs that may include activities of daily living; community living skills; social, leisure and vocational skills; self care.
  • Provide quality therapeutic recreational and expressive therapy in group or individual setting Educate patient/family/caregiver in skills applicable for discharge plan.
  • Participate in the interdisciplinary care process.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.
  • Day shift only - no nights.
