About the Role

Join Children's Health as a Clinical Social Worker MSW – M-F Schedule in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate parent/child adjustment to illness and hospitalization.
  • Coordinate anticipatory discharge to ensure that patient's home - care is prearranged prior to leaving the hospital.
  • Coordinate and direct multidisciplinary patient care conferences focusing both on medical and biopsychosocial needs.

Requirements

Candidates are required to have a State of Texas LMSW license and must possess a graduate or professional work or advanced degree, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include at least two years of previous Social Work experience, with four years being preferred, and holding a State of Texas LCSW license.
