Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust respiratory care plans within the multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver respiratory therapies and interventions as ordered, maintaining clear communication with physicians and nursing staff.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory disease processes, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Accept reassignment to other units as needed to meet patient care demands.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist license (RRT)
- BLS certification; NRP
- MHC as listed in Job Notes
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy
