Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine patient needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and agency standards.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions targeting speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Educate patients and families on communication strategies, compensatory techniques, and safe swallowing practices.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) program and hold current licensure as an SLP in the state of Michigan, along with CPR certification.
