Key Responsibilities

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, in collaboration with an anesthesiologist:

Responsible for the management of airway and the support of vital functions, including induction, intubation, and the maintenance of anesthesia

Maintains an accurate record of all anesthetics, medications, and fluids used during the anesthesia

Provides professional observation and support of care until the patient has regained control of his/her vital functions
