Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Vera French is looking for an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team with a focus on medication assisted treatment!

Key Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Master's or Doctorate Degree from an accredited program Licensure as a registered nurse and licensed as an advanced registered nurse practitioner as required by the state of Iowa.

Certified as a clinical specialist/NP by ANCC or other accepted certifying body as defined by the Nurse Practice Act in Iowa.

Requirements

three years related clinical experience preferred.

Knowledge of the involuntary hospitalization laws pertaining to mental impairment and substance abuse, working knowledge of managed care concepts and practices.

Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.
