Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Vera French is looking for an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team with a focus on medication assisted treatment!

Key Responsibilities

• WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Master's or Doctorate Degree from an accredited program Licensure as a registered nurse and licensed as an advanced registered nurse practitioner as required by the state of Iowa.

• Certified as a clinical specialist/NP by ANCC or other accepted certifying body as defined by the Nurse Practice Act in Iowa.

Requirements

• three years related clinical experience preferred.

• Knowledge of the involuntary hospitalization laws pertaining to mental impairment and substance abuse, working knowledge of managed care concepts and practices.

• Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.

• Learn and Grow: Vera French offers various in-house training opportunities CPR, Medication Management and other trainings through our learning management system.
