Key skills and qualifications: Crisis Management, Suicide Prevention, Treatment Planning, Intake Evaluations, Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Boundary Setting, Solution Focused Interventions, Substance Use Awareness. Candidates with experience in these areas may be especially well-suited for this Social Work role.
Core responsibilities: Conduct intake evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions and suicide prevention for inmates in a correctional facility. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide staff training on mental health topics.
