Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate care for patients eight years and older with sleep disorders.

• Provide a comprehensive evaluation of the treatment plan with alterations, if necessary, in regular increments, as determined by medical necessity and insurance.

Requirements

• Develop a treatment plan for Narcolepsy and Idiopathic Hypersomnia patients, which includes on-going evaluation of effectiveness, side effects, and safety concerns.

• Initiate referrals for further evaluation to Otolaryngologists, Pulmonologists, Cardiologists, Dentists, and Psychologists; this may involve further collaboration in order to best serve the patient.

• Collaborate with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers to ensure timely acquisition of necessary equipment and supplies.

• The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.
