About the Role

Join UnityPoint Health as a Respiratory Therapist – Nights, Weekend Rotation in United States. Overview Unity Point St. Luke's-Downtown Full Time, Nights 6p-6:30a, weekend and holiday rotation Provide expert respiratory care to a diverse patient population across inpatient and outpatient settings, ranging from neonates to adults.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' respiratory conditions by conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.

Administer respiratory therapies including medical gas delivery, nebulization, chest physiotherapy, airway management, and mechanical ventilation (invasive and non

invasive) for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and neonatal patients.

Perform diagnostic testing such as arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis, pulmonary function testing, and pulse oximetry

Requirements

Education: Registered Respiratory Therapists as recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care required.

Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree required.

Experience: Two (2) years of clinical experience preferred.

License(s)/Certification(s): Current BCLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire required.
