About the Role

Join UnityPoint Health as a Dietitian RD - Downtown in United States. Overview Unity Point St. Luke's-Downtown Full Time, Days 8a-4:30p The clinical dietitian works closely with the interdisciplinary health care team to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that are integrated and compatible with the patient’s medical program goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Provides nutrition education to patients, patient’s family and friends, employees, physicians, health care staff, and the community.

Provides written educational materials and other teaching aids that are tailored to the specific needs to the patient.

Considers the patient's level of comprehension, cultural background, communication abilities, and socioeconomic needs.

Develops, revises, and/or reviews educational materials.

Requirements

Must hold a current license or certification specific to the state of employment IADHHS – Iowa Department of Health and Human Services Reg Dietitian CDR – Commission on Dietetic Registration
