About the Role

Join SSM Health Home Health Services as a Physical Therapist Assistant – Home Health in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Progresses treatment techniques and procedures as patient’s status and functional potential changes in conjunction with the specific therapy plan of care designed by the supervising therapist.

Identifies, responds and reports to supervising therapist any changes in the patient’s physical/mental status and/or tolerance to treatment.

Assists with direction of functional training classes and/or programs under the supervision of licensed therapist as assigned.

Assigns routine tasks to aides and clerical staff related to their job function in conjunction with supervising therapist.

Requirements

Performs in an ethical manner in accordance with discipline specific professional code of conduct.

Understands the organization’s performance improvement methodology to improve quality of services provided by this position.

Demonstrates awareness of organizational performance improvement initiatives and follows through with the action plans.

Offers feedback through staff meetings, focus groups or direct supervisor in order to maximize performance improvement outcomes.
