About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Employ principles of Primary care for management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Be present on time for any scheduled tour of duty as documented by physical presence in Primary Care at the scheduled start time.
  • Follow all established medication policies and procedures. No sample medications shall be provided to patients.
  • Provide notification of test results for patients receiving care in accordance with VHA Directive 1088, Communicating Test Results to Providers and Patients.

Requirements

  • specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies. Qualifications C. Job Profile Basic Requirements/Certifications:
  • Current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalency. Education Required:
