About the Role

  • An M. D.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position provides the following medical services to UF students: acute illness and/or injury care, chronic disease management and preventative services.
  • Customary faculty duties such as telephone after-hours call and occasional weekend clinic coverage are shared amongst the 27 other providers.
  • Educational Activities: There are opportunities to teach residents and medical students on elective rotations during patient care activities at the Student Health Care Center.
  • This position will also participate in educational conferences, seminars, and lectures and share in faculty duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • An M. D. or D. O. degree (or equivalent), board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, and a current Florida medical license (or eligibility) are required.
