Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Respiratory Therapy - Day/Evening/Nights

The Respiratory Therapist administers various respiratory treatments to patients, assists in assessing and evaluating respiratory care needs, and contributes to the development and evaluation of respiratory care services. This role involves planning and directing both routine and emergency patient care, assuming responsibility for the respiratory care plan, and evaluating patient progress toward expected outcomes.

The position requires the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to recognize and treat physical changes unique to the age group served, assessing patients upon admission, throughout hospitalization, and at discharge. All duties must be performed safely and efficiently within the scope of practice and hospital policy, including directing and mentoring delegated interventions.
