Entity: Owensboro Health Regional Hospital | Department: Radiation Oncology | Work Hours: M-F 7:00-4:30 | Weekend Requirements: N/A | 0.0 FTE Job Summary: Provides therapeutic and patient care services for the purpose of delivering radiation therapy as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivers patient treatment plan in collaboration with physician and dosimetrist/physicist.
- Evaluates patients for appropriate response to treatment and reports any adverse reactions.
- Positions patients and selects anatomic/technical parameters accurately; maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and treatment techniques while utilizing radiation protection procedures.
- Reviews patient charts for completeness and accuracy according to established policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Registered as a Radiological Technologist in Radiation Therapy required upon hire AND ROC
- Radiation Operator Certification in the state of Kentucky required upon hire AND BLS

- 25 lbs: 25% Lifting 25
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- No weekends required.
- Day shift only - no nights.
