Join FirstLight Home Care of Northern Colorado as a Speech Therapist – Home Care, Flexible Schedule in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- include: ● Provides initial and ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient to identify the patient’s level of functioning, swallowing and communication ability.
- ● Instructs patients and families on proper consistency of food to maintain nutritional intake and prevent complications of swallowing disorders.
- ● Instructs patients and families on using special educational strategies and techniques to improve sensory-motor development, perception, memory, language and cognition.
Requirements
- for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association.
- ● Two years’ experience as a Speech Therapist.
- Previous experience in the home care or outpatient therapy industry preferred.
- CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURE, & REGISTRATION ● Current, valid license to practice as a Speech Pathologist.
