About the Role

Join Erlanger Health System as a Registered Respiratory Therapist-ECMO Specialist-Full-Time in United States. Job Summary: Reports to the Team Leader. This position requires the individual to be advanced in critical care, ECMO, and general floor care in an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.

• Must be able to interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the department's guidelines.

• manage the equipment necessary for providing ECMO support.

Requirements

• Capable of working in a high stress environment.

• Have knowledge of organization functions, policies and regulation, current trends and new developments in healthcare.

• Understand principles and practices of respiratory therapy and bronchopulmonary physiology to assist physicians with therapeutic procedures.
