Join Jackson Health as a Occupational Therapist – Full Time, Mon-Fri, Weekend Rotation in United States. Department: Lynn Rehabilitation Center Address: 1611 NW 12th Ave, Miami, Florida, 33136 Shift details: Full Time, 8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri, and 1 weekend day every 4 weeks. Why Christine E.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates continued competence in the application of growth and development principles in the delivery of treatment to patients aging from adolescence to geriatrics.
  • Selects and administers appropriate initial evaluation to referred patient's with varying diagnoses and all age groups.
  • Collaborates with patients and family in the development of an individual treatment plan, identifying safe, realistic, and age appropriate goals while maintaining a sensitivity to age specific needs.
  • Assesses data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the information to implement effective therapeutic interventions specific to patient's age.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.
  • Day shift only - no nights.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy along with completion of an internship program, and hold a valid Florida license as an Occupational Therapist. Generally, 3 to 5 years of related experience is required, along with current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
