About the Role

Join UPMC as a Pulmonary Technologist II – No Weekends, Daylight Shifts in United States. UPMC Presbyterian is seeking a Pulmonary Technologist II to join our team on a full-time basis in the Falk Medical Building! This position is 40 hours a week, 8-hour daylight shifts, with no weekends or holidays required!

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains and calibrates diagnostic equipment.
  • Applies basic troubleshooting skills and makes minor adjustments to the equipment when necessary.
  • Assists in providing emergency medical care.
  • Performs cardio pulmonary stress testing, including the insertion and maintenance of arterial lines.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.
  • Day shift only - no nights.

This position offers day shifts only. Work with UPMC in United States.

Requirements

Candidates must be credentialed as a Certified or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist, an Exercise Specialist/Physiologist, or a Respiratory Care Practitioner with one year of experience in pulmonary diagnostic testing, with the requirement to obtain CPFT within two years. A BLS certification is required immediately, and ACLS must be obtained within one year.
