About the Role
Join One Brooklyn Health as a Physical Therapist Assistant – Skilled Nursing Experience in United States. Overview Physical Therapy Assistant will assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care, under the supervision of licensed therapists. Assistant will document all services provided to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides Therapy services established by the Physical Therapist (PT) in the patient Plan of Care.
- Provides therapy services under the supervision of a PT as determined by the Registered Therapist and in compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
- Consults with PT regarding changes in treatment or condition in a timely manner.
- Appropriately and effectively completes documentation including daily notes and assisting the PT to create progress notes, discharge summaries, or monthly reports as needed.
Requirements
- Education: Associate of Arts in Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Experience: Minimum one (1) year as a Physical Therapy Assistant experience preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year experience with CVA, TBI preferred.
