About the Role

Key Responsibilities

will have a key role in the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal conditions including gluten related disorders and hosts specialty clinics for celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease & ulcerative colitis), intestinal failure and home parenteral nutrition (HPN).

will have a key role in the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal conditions including gluten-related disorders and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), delivering in-depth education related to nutrition assessment, evaluating nutritional needs and expenditure and advising patients regarding specific nutritional interventions such as gluten-free (GFD) and low fermentable carbohydrate (low FODMAPs) diets.

Requirements

2 years (within the last 5 years) of clinical experience; knowledge and experience in the management of celiac disease and inflammatory bowel diseases is an asset 4.

Collaboration in previous research studies and publications is an asset 5.

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of hospital personnel, patients and families 6.

Demonstrated ability to be creative, flexible, self-directed, proactive and resourceful 7.

Work Schedule
