Key Responsibilities
- will have a key role in the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal conditions including gluten related disorders and hosts specialty clinics for celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease & ulcerative colitis), intestinal failure and home parenteral nutrition (HPN).
- will have a key role in the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal conditions including gluten-related disorders and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), delivering in-depth education related to nutrition assessment, evaluating nutritional needs and expenditure and advising patients regarding specific nutritional interventions such as gluten-free (GFD) and low fermentable carbohydrate (low FODMAPs) diets.
Requirements
- 2 years (within the last 5 years) of clinical experience; knowledge and experience in the management of celiac disease and inflammatory bowel diseases is an asset 4.
- Collaboration in previous research studies and publications is an asset 5.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of hospital personnel, patients and families 6.
- Demonstrated ability to be creative, flexible, self-directed, proactive and resourceful 7.
Work Schedule
