About the Role
Join Family Centers as a Behavioral Health Clinician - Bilingual (Spanish) in United States. Overview Family Centers offers health, education and human services to children, adults, and families living in Lower Fairfield County. Our counseling and mental health services help individuals, groups, couples and families resolve a wide range of personal and relationship issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive assessments and psychotherapy to individuals (children and adults), families, couples, and groups in need of mental health treatment.
- Identifying each client’s psychosocial needs utilizing the Social Determinants of Health and providing referrals and resources.
- Collaborating and providing mental health consultations to medical staff, and leading workshops and trainings related to mental health. We offer:
- An opportunity to be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team including psychiatric and medical professionals.
Requirements
- Licensed Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LPCA, LMFT) in Connecticut, or the ability to obtain CT licensure
- Bilingual Spanish
- Experience working with a wide range of populations
- Strong clinical skills and experience using evidence
