About the Role
Join University of Iowa as a Behavioral Health Consultant – 70% FTE in United States. Position Summary Clinical Chaplains serve as an integral part of interdisciplinary team serving patients and families cared for within UI Health Care. They advocate for and with patients and families and staff according to values consistent with patients' belief systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Responds to all inpatient and outpatient consultations and screening requests.
- Responds to the concurrent spiritual needs of patients’ families.
- Conducts spiritual assessments of patients and families.
- Develops spiritual care plans specific to the patient’s individual beliefs. Creates and adjusts spiritual care plans specific to age
Requirements
- Master’s degree and Board
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication methods and behaviors.

Work Schedule
- Part-Time position.
