About the Role

Join Akin (formerly Childhaven) as a Student Intern - Behavioral Health in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observes and/or assists with initial consumer screening intake and assessment
  • Assesses and determines consumer diagnosis/service need and develops treatment/service plans and/or makes appropriate community referral under direct supervision
  • Implements treatment/service plan using a variety of therapeutic/educational interventions in a variety of locations and settings
  • Performs treatment/service evaluations and follow

Requirements

  • Regular, predictable attendance is required Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn additional software programs related to the positions
  • Valid driver’s license required, must obtain a WA state license within 30 days of hire, if out of state license
  • Proof of CPR and First Aid Certification (within 30 days of hire)
