About the Role

Join UHS as a School Counselor – Special Education Setting in United States.

Key Responsibilities

The LifeWorks School is hiring an energetic, collaborative, and experienced School Counselor for our school in Media, PA for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year.

The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school effected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges.

LifeWorks comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes.

Our unique balance of academic rigor and a continuum of evidence based educational/therapeutic supports make LifeWorks the regional provider of choice.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in School or Professional Counseling with certification required.

Master’s Degree in Professional and School Counseling from accredited college or university preferred.

Clinically supervised education/training in individual, group and family therapy with LPC credential preferred.

Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
