About the Role
Join Harris House Foundation Inc as a Nurse Practitioner, FT in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that a medical evaluation, including a medical history and physical examination, has been performed at every patient’s admission.
- Ensure that appropriate laboratory studies have been ordered and performed, and results are reviewed and documented.
- Collaborates with Medical Director, clinical and social service teams, and other medical providers.
- Presents medical forms to the Medical Director for their signature.
Requirements
- Ensures compliance with State Regulations, CARF and HIPAA Standards. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Completion of Nurse Practitioner program specific to psychiatry/mental health.
- 1 year as Nurse Practitioner treating substance use disorders.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Call responsibilities required.
