Key Responsibilities

• Use music therapy interventions to treat patients according to individualized treatment plan.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment to meet the needs of each patient and therapeutic milieu served.

• Performs assessments to determine deficits, strengths, functioning needs, and precautions addressable through music therapy.

• Determine role of music therapy in treatment, establish treatment goals, and formulate interventions strategies based on assessed needs.

Requirements

• Qualifications Required Bachelors degree in music therapy or a Music Therapy equivalency.

• Board certification (MT-BC) through the Certification Board for Music Therapists.

• Qualifications (Preferred) Preferred Master's degree in music therapy.

• Two years related experience.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
